After 15 years of display in galleries, homes and museums, there are a few small dents and minor wear to the finish, but it is in good condition and it still works. (Much of the same can be said about the artist.)

About This Piece

The hour and minute hands of the clock, clock face, and segmented horn are made from walnut and maple wood. Metal studs in the clock face are solid brass.

The headpiece is spalted maple. Wings are maple and tailpiece is walnut. The head is supported by solid brass pipes.

Solid steel rods connect the maple cabinet to maple feet.

The walnut tailpiece unscrews to release the horn for accessing the clock mechanism from the front of the clock.

Solid brass trim around bookmatched maple and walnut inset.

Signed and dated under the base of the cabinet.
